PS I’M GETTING MY NEW CAST ON TODAY ;) by olivia
A lot of you kids out there have younger siblings, and they can sometimes be goofy or maybe even a little bit of a pest , but we still love them. I have a little brother 6 years old and his name is Ben. And one of the best things about him is that he loves animals and cares so much about our planet. Like, if he sees a plastic bottle in a parking lot, he would pick it up and put it in our car and when we get home he would recycle it. So I think that if we all try to teach our luittle brothers and sisters< 4 and up> to help the planet like Ben we can make a big difference for our and their future. P.S.- Here are some pics of my brother!

Just a fun fact, did you know recycling started thousands of years ago!!! And people have been doing it ever since! I for one think that is pretty cool.
Drew

Go recycling!
Dear people,
One of the best things we can do to help the planet is recycle, but we don’t always know what we can and can’t recycle so here is a list of just that!
What we can recycle, aluminum cans, glass bottles, papers, plastic bottles, brown cardboard, boxes, and jugs. And these are just some of the stuff we can recycle.Hope this helps a bunch!
And remember,REDUCE,REUSE,RECYCLE!!!!!!!

Dear people all around the earth,
Here are the directions for a worm compost:
1 get a bowl 2 get some grass or mashed up leaves 3 get some worms 4 get about a quarter of a pound of dirt.
First, grab the bowl and put the dirt in it. Next, put the grass or mashed up leaves in the dirt with the worms. And lastly, grab some food from one of your meals and throw it in too. And there! You have your very own worm compost! And it’s that simple.
How in the world would THAT help the planet? You ask yourself. Well this is how it works: when you make your compost, the worms will eat the left over food and poop out newer, fresher and better for the planet soil!!! So right now lets all give a big thanks to our earthworms, THANK YOU EARTH WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope this helps a bunch! Drew Potts
P.S.- Just a heads-up, if you comment we will try to show as many as we can but we might not get to all of them! But we will comment back to all of them!

THANKS EARTHWORMS!!!!
Hi, I am Drew’s mom and I am so proud of Drew and Olivia and all of their friends for showing concern for the environment! Drew not only cares about the planet, but she tries to take action by doing everything she can think of to make this world a better place. (We love to recycle at our house…) She educates herself and others, and her little brain is always at work. Drew and her brother love to be outside and enjoy everything about nature. We spend a lot of time in our back yard, at parks, and at family cabins appreciating the great outdoors. I think if every person took a cue from the kids and tried to do one little thing to help our environment, we could all make a huge difference.
Hi everybody! We are the monticello treehuggers. And we are soooo excited to be on the web! We are really into helping the earth and saving it from turning it into a huge garbage can! And more thing, BIG thanks to Melissa Moffitt <Olivia’s mom!> for setting this website up!
